Ok just mastered Pistoleer. Was really fast with fan shot, but what now? I want to stay Master Pistoleer, but I think it's kind a weak profession but maybe I'm just doing something wrong...

PVP:

#1 Wich weapon should I use?
#2 Which Pistoleer Specials are good in PVP?
#3 Against which other elite fighting profs I got good chances and which not?

PVE large mobs:

#4 Which weapon should I use to shoot large mobs?
#5 Which Pistoleer Specials?
#6 What are the highest Mobs you killed as a pistoleer?

thx for your answers

Demian the best pistol for both of your questions is a Geonosian Sonic Blaster. Unenhanced you can get then at about 120/260 with around 2.0 speed and the price is going down. For PvE a good Dx2 is invaluable for the acid, and a striker pistol is needed for high level MOBs (read Nightsisters).

The are 2 different strategies for using pistoleer specials in PvP (and PvE for that matter). First is just straight up high damage output, and for this you want to use Fanshot or Stopping Shot if you are 1 on 1 or don't want to aggro other MOBs. The other strategy which I tend to prefer is targeting health with healthshot1 and healthshot2. You get Bleed DoT as well as damage to only 1 HAM bar. Also if PvP most people have a Helmet with a stun resist layer (to protect against Rifleman w/ Jawas and BHs using Sonic Blasters with Eyeshot) but stun resist Chest Pieces are less common due to the high encumberance.

For 3, you are going to have a lot of trouble with Riflemen, IMHO they are unbalanced and overpowered right now. Basically with Rifleman you have to burst run to get maximize your accuracy and minimize theirs. Also keep moving against them, your accuracy while moving mods should be better than theirs. Even with excellent buffs and food and SEAs you will still struggle against a Master Rifleman with any PvP experience.

As a Pistoleer you should be able to solo Kimogilas, Rancors, and most other big MOBs. You will probably not be able to solo the toughest MOBs like Krayts, Nightsisters, and Crystal Hunters.

use a geonosian pistol for pvp but all in all pistoleer seriously needs to be improved less you find it fun to run around wrecking other ppls weapons with disarming shot

and for pve its even more hopeless
