While it would be neat to have the BH specials and speed I think you would be better off mastering pistoleer with the dirty fightnin line and then you choice of melee profession. I've been a triple master for a long time, and I think the most fun comes from mixing melee and ranged. Not to mention you survive hits from both styles better if you have both yourself.

Teras Kasi isn't that great for pvp these days do to everyone having 80% kinetic armor but the meditate line and FoW ability from it are invaluable. 2-Hand is great for PvE and taking down turrets.

But back to BH/DF mix, I don't think you would survive against a master pistoleer/DF that had master melee with it.

It was good back when KD was king, defenses barely existed, mitigation wasn't put in, and people ran around armorless.
