The thing I discovered... Was that when you run you get modifiers and such, so if your are running tro someone you will notice the mod by the target's head.. while standing still about 20m away it might say +20, if you even move slightly it drops instantly to like +5, or even -15, Now where the modifiers you get while running, etc, means you suffer less negatives to those modifiers.. so usually when I ran towards someone while shooting cause of my profs, I would only have a -5 or so, meaning my accurasy normally at 155 was actually shooting at 150, vs if I am standing still not moving, it was +20, meaning I was hitting for 175 or so.. anyhow I am sorry I dont have exact numbers for you, but that is how it your mods take into effect. BTW I really miss this char..
But since I went Master Pistoleer, smuggler 0040, Master TK, I take the minimum damage on all things.. Very nice
ranged mitigation and melee mitigation and toughness etc.
Sounds like there may be multiple "moving" modifiers at work in the game, 1 for walking, 1 for running, etc. I'm sure there's even ones for riding bantha while galloping and singing the theme to Dallas as well.
The big dissadvantage to playing an MMORPG vrs a Pen-and-Paper RPG is in the Pen-and-Paper, you know what all the numbers are, you can actually see the mechanics at work. Unfortunately, I doubt any of us will ever "see" the mechanics without hacking the exe files and sifting through line upon line of code, something far beyond my abilities both technically and legally, or tieing up a head developer and torturing them, which is beyond my abilities to focus for any length of time on a distant goal... oh and that pesky legal thing again.
