I can't give you a surefire answer since I never tried messing with those before picking up the BH pistols line, but I'd reckon you should at least be able to kill them with some tactics. A friend of mine has master pistoleer married to CM/Doc (not sure on the exact combo) and it works for everything to PvP to DWB trips and back.
(I would definitely recommend considering getting either BH pistols to complement master, or ignore master completely and get some skills from fencer and some from pistoleer to go withBH pistols. But they're more skill point intense than both a pure master pistoleer.)

as for high level mobs, if they have medium or heavy armor you basically cant hurt them. unless they have a vuln. otherwise even 5% resist will shrug your hits. so basically no skill will override that, you just have to live with it as a pistoleer.
you can kill some nightsisters, if they have the right vulnerabilities. and even if its 100% resist to all yoru damage types, torso shot fire will burn them no matter what. it will take forever but its possible.
we can definately hang in combat with those types of mobs, we just cant really hurt them......yet....

Look into getting a few speed attachments and you should do ok in PvE not the best but not bad also.

Just with an average run-of-the-mill Geo pistol, at master I can easily take down Kimos (not the Enraged ones). But, that's about the biggest MOB I can handle just with a pistol.

Hi
I am currently a 0/2/4/2 pistoleer (doc 0/4/4/0) working my way to Master. I am wondering if at master I will be able to take on things like Black Sun NPC, Night Sisters and other high level nasties. I am becoming very disheartened by my lack power when fighting these and other mobs. Does it get better when I hit master?

Well, your speed and accuracy will improve once you master.
As for high lvl mobs, it all depends on your support professions. You'll need the defense and perhaps even medic, because our dmg is pants compared to a rifleman (unless you have a pretty souped-up Krayted pistol).
