Thread: Combat Level 21 Novice Pistoleer Master Marskman

And I can't handle a grouping of lvl 15 Rebel Sympathizers. What exactly is the problem here? I can't truly understand the very value of my Combat Level 21 when I'm being demoralized by much weaker (green) enemies. It's mind-boggling truly and I've tried every tatic I've have used in the past when I've gone up against three, but the AI have truly improved (good job there whoever come to the conclusion) but it seems near impossible for me to accomplish this Emperor Palace mission. It's only the second in and I am having difficulity.


Other further profession I have indulged my character in would be Teras Kasi (0-0-1-0) and Novice Commando. Im completely at lost at how someone with such varied profession, other than Teras Kasi which is more a solo prompted profession (one-on-one) would be at fault against such a weak grouping of adversaries.


Can anyone help me with some sort of ideas on how I can perfect my skills and use my abilities to defeat my foe. This is truly becoming annoying.

well let's put it this way, say a level 80 complete template gets attacked by 20 level 75's

that level 80 is either going to run or die(NOTE: This excludes JEDI)

well it's true for most templets except for maybe a TK def stacker


but here is a tip, get a group

What about those of us that play solo mostly?I dont mind grouping,but I still like to solo too.Befor the CU I was able to solo some xp,but now its next to impossible(not entirely impossible),and I never used solo groups,exceptional armor or uber buffs.But I've noticed that after the CU,you need to group for almost everything in game.I like the CU and all,but I really miss the soloability that I used to have befor the CU.Very frustrating.If anyone knows a viable way to solo some good xp without it taking for ever please share.Im 1,1,1,1 pistoleer and im finding it very very dificult to get xp without grouping every time I need some.I thought there was supposed to still be alot of soloability after the CU,but Im starting to think otherwise.

I dont' mind the grouping or being hard to solo but it seems that if you kill anything under your lvl, you only get 1 exp. I believe that you should alwase get mroe than one unless your maxed out and kill a durni, (lose exp for that rofl). But the 1 exp is what I don't agree with.

I'm level 19 (novice pistoleer) trying to skill up... it's so SLOW now.. kill one thing (if you're lucky) then wait 2 mins to regain health.

Just came across a mutant womp rat (level 11).. "mutant womp rat looks weak to you"... hmm ok, let's kill it. Umm... incapped.. try again.. incapped.. ehh???... 3rd time (i'ts half dead, no probs).. incapped and slain. This sucks.


Can't use decent guns, and as my combat level grows I have to fight increasingly hard stuff with a gun that's (relatively) increasingly weak. Bah.. the CU is lame - it's just pushing everyone into group play. The least they could have done is introduce a 'looking for group' channel, so you can find people to group with.... and then the xp gets split so it takes just as long to skill up. I hate it.. think I'll go back to WoW like everyone else is...

If you /sit down action regen rates go up a lot.

Check the sticky Pistoleer guide for guns that you can use at your combat level. XP doesn't get split at all in a group, you get full xp for a single hit. Sorry to hear that you hate it, hope WoW is more fun for you.
