Thread: What pistol does the most raw damage?

I know this has probably been covered somewhere recently in the forums, but I can't find it. I want to know what pistol has the most damage in terms of number stats.
I know different pistols do better for certain things, but which has the most raw damage? For example, with carbines, laser carbines have the highest damage.

That would unquestionably be the DE-10.
That answer is a little misleading though, because other pistols can do more damage than a DE-10 against certain mob types, and also because a poorly crafted DE-10 can have lower overall stats than typically weaker weapons (I have a Modified Republic Blaster that is more powerful than many DE-10's, for example). But generally speaking, at least for energy damage, the DE-10 is the uber pistol.

The DE-10 for sure. But it can be useless vs. mobs with high energy resists. Just keep other damage type pistols in your arsenal for such occasions.

ifi am correct de-10 is light AP. so if its pvp go a high geo. like my 430 max geo which owns. for grinding get a Dx2 with a speed slice. or something like my republic blaster ( 304 max 1.9) . you can use a de-10 if you want but its gotta be high damage with pup if you wanna pvp with it.

The DE-10 is obvious answer.
Other than that Republic blaster of the ones that are craftable by weaponsmiths.
Like others have said it all depends on the armor piercing, damage type, etc.. to get what pistol is best in every situation.

i have a krayted DE-10, geo, republic blaster (i like the sound it makes.) and DX2 and a gorax FWG-5, all lined up on a quickbar for easy changing for mobs.

Sounds like you could use a Gorax Striker in there to complete the set.

What kinda stats can we see out of a gorax fwg5 and whats the ballpark price?

Get some friends together and go for a swoop around the endorian desert... Gorax Spawn quite frequently now, and quite often you can find two spawns right next to each other, and once you kill a gorax, about three more spawn in the same spot.
Easy to kill if you keep it intimidated and have some Ithorian Mist and Thakatillo to avoid the KD/Dizzies he does.
Then you can just take the shards to a weaponsmith and get yourself an FWG/Striker.
The spawn is about 5k away from the DWB so you can make a day of it.

my gorax FWG5 is unsliced, and does about... 255 max dammage with a nice speed. i aught to talk to my WS for a gorax striker, but with no AP, its kinda a letdown, oh well, i will give him shout later. .
