Thread: Melee Defense +5 Worth Having?

I'm wondering if a +5 Melee Defense AA is worth buying and using for a MBH / MP. I don't want to use up a slot in my belt on it if it isn't worth it.


You thoughts?

I'd say every bit of Melee Defence you can have for hunting Jedi is going to help you out. But, if your a BH - why are you wearing a belt instead of a LS Resistant PSG?

I know I should be wearing a PSG. My current belt has Pistl Accuracy +6/ While Standing +6 / While Moving +6, so I wear that. Once they fix the bouncing resists, I will most definitely wear one. Until then, I take my chances to add to the excitement.

Well....to answer your question....it's only worth it if you focus on gaining lots of melee defense. a +5 by itself is basically worthless. Now...to me it's useful because I have enhanced reflexes 0 4 0 0 (+20 melee def.) and I am planning on putting melee def. tapes wherever I can....armor pieces, belt, etc. When you add a bunch together it will help.


To add a question to the topic..... I was told that enhancments to clothing and armor such as dodge are limited to +25 total. Does this include melee and ranged defense?

Yes - the maximum your can enhance any mod from Clothing and Armour is 25.
