Thread: Is Elemental Damage Fixed?

Ok, the patch notes say elemental damage is fixed, but I haven't gotten in game to try, and I can't find any posts about it. So, fact or fiction?

Anyone? I think this could really effect the pistols we choose to use.

That would be good news Badger. Are you sure it's doing the extra damage and not just showing it in the combat spam (this was the bug when it was on TC earlier)? It doesn't sound like you can tell if you are just shooting low level creatures.

*strike that* Did some more tests and yeah it appears to be working, but the damage is so badly reduced you can hardly tell.

Seems like just about anything I shoot halves the elemental damage or better.

Mmm, the first thing I tested it on was some CL82 Mobs... see above... and the combat tab damage numbers and floaty numbers matched.

Ok, hang on let me go shoot something with a Trando pistol...

Seems to work, the trando has 120 electric damage, against CL82's that is an extra 64 damage every shot.


Shot a gubbur with it and did 120 electrical, shot a cl17 humbaba and did 119... dunno what that is about.


It all seem to add to damage correctly though.

Hey guys, my fiancee is a MP/MBH and I was doing some tests and had some questions on what we saw. I'll give you the short version here and clicky some SS's.


Weapon 1: FWG 445-918 damage. 299 base DPS. Hit me for 973 and crit me for 1216 points of damage BEFORE any armor mitigation FWG and FWG Damage


Weapon 2: Normal Trando 358-715 damage 120 Elemental; 336 base DPS. Hit me for 882 crit me for 1072. Trando and Trando Damage


So yeah, is elemental not working 100%? I know I forgot to click the weapon type on the combat spam, but i'm sure which is lined up with which I promise.


Thoughts? Thanks so much! And please forgive me if they're not the best..it's my first time of screen shots and posting to image dump
