hey there pistol community. i just dropped master Commando and smuggler to go MP/MBH/Carbs 0440. just got master pistoleer today 
(its wierd having ot grind instead of using /respec 
)

now what are the best pistols these days?
i read the stickies and they say DPS means nothing, so im not usre waht to go on. im using a 313 BDPS (i know, means nothing) FWG5 and it seems okay. i just looted stuff off of the avatar today, some of the pistols look decent. (IR G8 or some such gun). i was thinking about using the trando supressor, is it any good?

Welcome! 
Those loot guns are quite handy and you should find them very useful.
The best pistols are the Feather Weight FWG5 and the DL44XT which weaponsmiths canGorax and Krayt using onlyone shard or tissue each.
So if you go out and farm some Gorax and Krayts to get some guns made with 65 SAC and lots of damage, and then kill loads of Tier 4 Black Sun in space for the slicing component and get an 8% damage slice, you can have yourself a very nice gun.
That's pretty much the "Pistoleer End Game" at the moment, I posted a pic of the one I made in the Personal Favorite PIstols thread.

hmm, i supose ill have to hit my bank terminal and dig through my old animal loot bags to see whats in there. as for the smuggler components, i think i got a few off of the avatar. not sure though.
looks like its time to bio-link the trando supressor and go from there

Thats a good start. It's a handy weapon.
