I really didn't want to complain but I just can't take it anymore. A week before the CU, I finally got my dream gun,a DE-10 that was notorious for being the best pistol on the server. My pockets were empty but I had a huge smile on my face. Now, I knew the CU was just around the corner but I was trusting that the devs would stick to their promise and keep my new gun one of the best. A while later, it hit and I was on the edge of quitting. The bugs everywhere were horrible and made the game almost unplayable, but I still stuck around hoping that the devs would fix it. Things got better and I saw that my pistol was still in fairly good shape, but now anyone over level 54 could use it. I was willing to live with that, it didn't hurt me that much. Then ROTW came and along with it, new quests. Some of the new quests gave out new weapons, weapons that were even better than my pistol. Well, this made me a little mad. I don't think it's right that someone could run a mission and get a good weapon, hurting a weaponsmith's business, and taking away the value of the hard earned weapons of the past. Again, I trudged on hoping things would get better. Later came the slicing changes and as soon as I logged in after the patch I checked the pistol again. It didn't say anything about slices or customization points. So I took it to my smuggler friend first chance I got, thinking that my prize would reclaim its former glory after this. He tells me it can't be slicedbecause it had already been done before the CU. Well, that news hit me hard. There I was, with one of the once legendary weapons of the server, and barely able to keep up with a rifleman's looted weapons. As if that wasn't enough, I soon saw a Modified Republic blaster that was 40 dps higher than mine that was on sale for only 5k credits. Now, I'm here with my pistol, debating if I should take off the ADK and grind the money for a new one, or just hang it on the wall as a trophy of what once was. I can still win fights, but it takesa great deal of effort, money, and time. So I would like to know if there is any hope for my weapon, or should I call it quits and just walk away?
