Thread: Nice to see they were seroius about getting some feedback from us, NOT.
I have a feeling that all the top 5 issues reports we're just a stall to placate us till the publish.
Can they really expect us to believe that by giving each proff 5 issues to bring to their attention and then changeing the game after they have been submitted, but before they have been addressed is effective? It just gived em a chance to pat each other on the back for listed issues they believe they delt with in this publish. How many other proffs points are now null, or broken in new and exotic ways? ( not us, Philo should have our list carved in stone and planted in front of the SOE offices so he can just tell em to go look at the rock next time they ask. Unchanged save for the fact that it is getting longer now)
Perhaps they should give all the proffs with new or "underprivilaged" correspondants a second chance to submit. Everyone else had a chance to test on test, why not us as well?

It's funny you say that, the list we handed in to them was handed in no more then a week ago and their already asking Phil for another 5 issues. Common, honestly now, do you think their actually looking at the issues? Of course not, it's just a front they give us so it looks like they care so we can continue playing and paying. I will not believe otherwise until I actually see a dev get off of their lazy rear end and fix the problems that we, paying customer's, have found and have actually spent OUR MONEY and OUR playing TIME to researching and testing and providing number'sfor THEM!
Bolanos is right....The top 5 was handed in last week, or this week.....The devs probably *just* got done their meeting over it...
Now they have to
- Balance it...Trust me you DO NOT want swing balancing, where they over power you one week, and nerf you to nothing next week....Not to fix you again for 6 months.
- Code it.....
- Test the code intertnally.
- Test the code on test.
- Rebalance as needed. (Its amazing how the most inane/useless skills can be used in ways never imagined by smart players)
To be blunt, I would be extreamly suprised if philopshper heard *any* of the devs ideas within two weeks....
Well guys, I have no idea what the heck they're doing. I really wish I did, but I don't.
I know that Thunderheart is aware of my State of the Profession Report, and then out of nowhere they asked for the "Top Five Issues" thing, which I whipped up from the Report.
Ordinarily I wouldn't expect a response for a week or two, as some of you have said, but they kept promising responses on specific dates, more than once. For instance I spent a lot of time on forums a couple of days back because they had said they were posting our forum (and all other profession forums)on THAT day. Then they didn't. So who knows. I just wish they wouldn't tell us any specific dates until they knew for sure what they were doing.
The only thing that is disappointing to me thus far is that I wasn't able to get onto TC before the patch in order to test our defenses and FanShot. I PMed three Devs, plus I posted three times about it on Correspondent Forums, but still no reply. That disappointed me. They're busy I guess, who knows. *shrug* I'm going to post to them about it again today.
Thunderheart seems very excited right now and is talking about getting lots of answers and ideas to us soon, so we'll see. It all sounds very optimistic and exciting, so who knows. I wish I could say more than that, but that's really all I know.
