Do pistol specials and acceracy/speed modifiers work on the laucher pistol. Also what xp does the launcher pistol give you, pistol or heavy weapons?

Yes all pistol specials work with the launcher pistol.
You get heavy weapons exp.

and it does blast damage so if your rebel....you slaughter at-st.
