I now have Master Marksman and Master Carbineer and i am lv 57.
Iwas wondering if Master Pistoleer is good with carbineer and Master Marksmand andwould itget me to lv 80?
Thanks for the help

To quote the Rifleman Correspondent:
Personally, I love this template. It's great for getaways. And for keeping your targets well out of range of you.

Yeah it's a great template. I am running Master Marksman, Master Pistols, Master Carbines. I added on Novice Rifles, Novice Smuggler, and Novice Commando (all those novice boxes give you nice defenses and general ranged mods plus specials like headshot and concussion shot) to use up the rest of my skill points.
The template is great at crownd control and dealing damage fast. It is really offensive, but only moderetly defensive. Your real defense comes from the crowd control abilities like snares, roots, and mezzes. So you need to kill things fast. This makes the template weak against high end ranged mobs and defense oriented Jedi (though you can easily escape from these things) but great against everything else in PvP and any mobs that have a limit on their attack range.

It's a great template! Good solo ability and valuable in a group(though I tend to pull aggro even when just laying states with Jedi tanking and Rifleman nuking). Plus the versatility to wear battle or recon armour.

Why do so many people think it has to have BH to be a good ranged template? BH is fine if you want to hunt jedi, but IMO, you probably won't do that very often ( I know some people do, but most don't). The skill points are better spent elsewhere unless you actually want to hunt jedi.

BH's don't have to hunt Jedi but it's a damn good combat prof.

I was looking to give up BH for some pistol skills, but I'm turned off by the lower multiplier on body shot than on adv. critical shot. I mainly rotate between leg shot and adv. crit. I would imagine the leg shot/body shot combo would dish out less damage.
