Looked at it for quite a bit trying to tell if it was a shop. If so, it was a superb one, because I can't tell and spotting 'shops is one of my past times.

I'd like to know where that scope came from. The SAC is a bit high but who cares when you have 63 Accuracy.

I got 8 of those scopes from a DJM. But when I tried to make a gun with them it turned into blast damage. Maybe I will try a HC scatter next time and see if I can match this gun.

That's only with a 2% speed slice though. And I use sac pups to get it down to 70ish, so it gets the job done.

While that +63 accuracy bonus might look good at first, I believe you only take advantage of 25 of the accuracy bonus. Accuracy on a pistol counts against the same +25 max of any mod worn on a toon. This is definately the case for something like pistol speed, should be the same for pistol accuracy.

When using a Featherweight pistol with +15 accuracy bonus on my toon that has +25 pistol accuracy and +25 general ranged accuracy I notice no extra damage bonuses when firing at a target.

When I have a total of +45 pistol speed equipped on my toon, nothing past +25 is accounted for.

Its a bit misleading when the Character Screen does show the extra numbers beyond +25 for a mod, but when actually doing specials there is no difference from anything past +25 for all mods worn.

That raises an interesting question.

What mod if any is the scope accuracy bonus tied to, if it is indeed independant of any skill mod then it may not be under the same +25 limit.

The way to test it would be to put a reinforced stock on that gun and see if your damage output changes. If it doesn't then the stat caps somewhere. Shame we dont have one to test it on.

I'll ask around and get some info.

accuracy is 17. (but with pups i can jump it up :\)
