just got lucky with some cells, so I asked the WS to make different BHP's for one pistol.
I'm planning on trying to cap on speed/damage, then get a critslice and use a sac pup.
to gain about 1.8s in speed I'd end up with 10-20 extra sac according to some test the WS did.
now why do I want to try this?
well mainly because I have a cell to spare lol
I was just wondering, with a "normally" crafted pistol you usually cap sac and dam, and with some luck end up wiht 1.9 speed
you got two options for pups:
dam/speed: you don't gain much DPS, single hits hit harder, but the added speed kind of sucks
sac/acc: you don't gain any damage, but sac gets lower....putting a sac pup on a 65sac gun is kind of a waste imo....atm I'm still using my pre-curbs with 84 sac, with a pup that's lowered below 60, and I don't seem to run out of action easily...
so with a 1.7xs speed pistol capped for damage anda sac pup I was wondering if I just wouldn't do more damage over time than with the normal way of using a sac capped pistol with dam/speed pup.
..worst case I end up with 85 sac which still is below 60 with a pup ,but I'll still be close to or at the speedcap
your thoughts please

If you aren't running out of action, then SAC isnt a problem. When using damage spamming macros you will run out of action ecven with a 45 SAC gun.
So, feel free to damage and speed cap a gun.

I never use any macro's.... and the reason I never run out of action might be because I'm just about always buffed, ande if not buffed still on food/spice
hmm now I'm wondering how I can somehow test which does most damage over a certain time

I'm always capped on Action regen with buffs, still run out of action with a 45 SAC gun after about a minute and a half of spamming damage.
That shows how fast Pistoleers can shoot with macros.
