I think it is working, a thug aggro'd me the other night while I was trying to tame a critter which meant I didn't have my gun equipped. He must have fired at me for a minute and didn't touch me, highly amusing...reminded me ofthe matrix

I've been scouring to try to find an answer, but its hard to to tell at what date some people are talking. So, as of right now (March 25, 2004) is pistoleer dodge working? or broken?

I don't think so, I seem to dodge all the time. Of course the animation while standing makes it tough to out run someone who is shooting at you.

We seem to dodge adequately often (at least I haven't heard any complaints), but we still do the "sidestep" animation while running. This halts our movement, and is slated to be fixed in Publish 8. The animation won't fire whilerunning, but the dodge will work.

Anyone else having trouble with dodge food? I can't seem to get any to work for me.

i think dodge food is still broken, posibly got fixed last patch.

In the last publish they were supposed to fix the dodge fleeing animation so you wouldn't stop in your tracks. Supposedly it was fixed for fencers, but I don't think it was fixed for pistoleers.
