Thread: Help finding Geo Blaster loot

So I go to the geo cave, I went unarmed as I am not high enough level in pistol to take on much. I fight my way room to room, working my way almost to the very bottom. I started out with a set of VK's that had 961/961 condition and its 102/961 after this one trip, just to give you a idea of all I killed. I had no problem killing things but I got 0 loot as in nothing. I really want a geo blaster and am dreaming of a schematic for the player made ones.


I noticed that everyone was camping the first spawn when you get in the cave. Even seen AFK killers there ( unbelivable ). Once I got past the first spawn, I noticed that no one was going any lower, so I noticed. Kinda depressing spending money on travel, buffs, food and armor decay and walk out of there empty handed.


So my questions are what drops what pistol loot? and are the only things dropping loot the first mob in the cave? Did I have bad luck at cave, or is the loot broken there?

I usually go to the geno lab with nearly empty inventory, usually leave with zero inventory space left and that after deleting 80% of the crap I looted. You can pick up a boat load of loot down there, no idea why you ended up empty handed.


Cubes - Genosians & the mercs


Schematic - Mercenaries (spawn in one room only, gets crazy towards the server shutdown. Sometimes you can end up tanking 20 to 30 mercs in that little room )


The entrance is usually overcamped andonly genosians (excuse me spelling) spawn, so you will only loot cubes and the lootgeno pistols (which are mostly crap, however you can get lucky and pick up a 200ish max)


There is nothing special about the loot at the entrance, people just tend to stay up as the kiwi's and klinics insidecan be hard to handle by some professions.

With my armor and unarmed with my food and buffs, I haven't found anything that I can not solo there. But if I do get in trouble, I just feighn death till I get rested. I killed those mercanarys but didnt stay in that room, I continued lower. I will stay there from now on. It actually wasn't camped when I was there. (my loss )

Hate to give up the secret, but the merc room is not the only place to camp. Infact I have now looted my second Geo Sonic Blaster Schematic and both have been from the Imperial Observer room. Both Imperials and rebels can agro these guys and you do not lose imp faction standing for killing them. Also I have looted Uber Yellow cubes, 15/14 as well as Nice Green Cubes +350 condition, from this room, as well as Rifles, Pistols, cores, relics, and pretty much everything the cave has to offer. As a TKM I had the option of fighting the mercs ( 13K ham and 40% Kinetic,) or he Imp observers ( 13K ham 5% to all) so I obviously chose the ones who had a 35% less resistance to my particular damage type. On top of this, I have found through experimentation that the Imps are much easier to KD and also easier to land a DIzzy on, so they suit my fighting style nicely. Also the room can overcrowd and overspawn, I have had experiences fighting as many as 32 of these guys at once, Fully buffed /armored, 2 doses of Brandy, 2 doses of Vagnerian canape, and a muon and a pixie on reserve at the top of my menu If I need one of them, I have no problem Spin2 ing this entire room and within 3 minutes looting over 30 bodies. I also fill up a backpack and my inventory within my 3 hour buff period very easily.
If you want loot, only bother with the Crazed Geos, the Imp observers, the Mercs, The Acklay, and the Fire Breathing spider.


THe enhanced Kwi and Klicks do give off a special food ( or at least they used to, I have not gotten one in a while) But are totally not worth the fight it takes to bring them down solo. Especially when there are more than one of them. Oh and NEVER forget to COB in a large scale fight, It will save your life.


All in all, for loot I have 2 words, Imperial Observers

Directly across the Hall from the Merc Room, the best part is you do not need a key to get in like you do for the merc room

this is correct.


Only chance is to camp the merc room. If you stay in the entrance you will have to compete with the 20 other people trying to loot. I always go below when going to the cave. The question is can you get past the kiwi's and klins in the cave....those are very hard to solo without the proper combat profession.


What I do is run through the cave and get as manycreatures to agro me. If you do it correctly you will have Kwis, Klins, droids, and genosians all following attacking you. Remember to peace the whole time. Eventually one of the mobs will do an area attack and will take the agro from you. Now you can tip toe away from the battle lol. This is how its been done by everyone on my server unless there is a group of 3-4 players going down.


Or you can just get feign of death, easiest way lol.
