Im a wookiee on gorath and Ive been a master pist / 0040 BH for about 2 months now, and i have a question.

In pvp i rarely lose a fair fight (buffed vrs buffed, un vrs un) you can ask anyone who has faught me, and im curious, im kinda looking for a change, my 3rd holo said BH thats why i started in on BH but know i find that i can basically kill anyone without a problem. I won a dueling tournament last weekend and i was the only ranged fighter there, i had to fight a master tk/sword/brawler ( he had all the tags not sure if he still had all 3 but i think so) for the championship and beat him fairly easily, so im not sure if i want to change

anyway if i decide to change my profs, u think i should finish bh for holos, or drop bh and pick up smugler and maybe fencer or something like that..what does everyone think

Well, when you say, "Finish Bounty Hunter for holos" - you're talking about one excrutiating grind through Investigation. On my way through to Master - I made a lot of friends while running missions in Kadraa (both Imperial and Rebel) that said that this was their 2nd, or 3rd attempt at Bounty Hunter.

The bottom line is ... weapon XP is all good and fine - you can always grind that easily ... but, we're talking about a profession that is still borked on at LEAST 50% of the Investigation missions after Invest. II - so, the question is solely upon you. Do you want to invest the time/effort to not only climb the Investigation Branch, but ... do you want to grind out Weapon XP that can be fairly difficult (with LLC for the first couple of boxes until you get more Accuracy/Speed mods), or in particular Carbine.

It's really up to you - but, keep in mind, the Hologrinding will stop with (more than likely) Patch 10 - and trying to Master Bounty Hunter at this point could very well take you right up to that mark, when they'll pull the plug on that specific way to make Jedi, and implement a new way (quest-based). So, it's up to you ... I don't think you've got enough time to do it, personally.

i just thought that jedi were going to master their professions in a quest-based way as opposed to unlocking your force slot that way

who knows, i could be wrong /shrug
