Get yourself a few pistols, the FWG, the DX2, and a republic. They all do different damage types Heat, Acid, and Energy respectively. The DX2 and Republic have a Armor Peircing of 1 (good for armored oppenents) Go up Pistol Techniques, all the working specials are there. Once your working on that you can also go up the Grips Tree. The first little bit is slow, get your self some Doctor Buffs and Armor, then a ticket to an Advanced Planet.

I don't know but until now this profession looks carppy :s
It takes some time to kill a corellian butterfly lol..

But I have a question, I just hit novice and there are
alot of psitols already I can use but I don't know which
I should use and with what stats? And also what tree to
get up first?

Dx2 isnt that bad, in fact i mostly use one, i also have a pre-nerf fwg5 i use, those two are about it. i have a tangle and repbulic in my inventory but i rarley use them. the thing that makes a DX2 good is ts ap1 and acid damage, there are more mobs resistant to heat than there are acid. a good stun pistol will help also but since the genosian stun gun is pretty rare dont count on getting your hands on one at the local weaponsmith shop. it s almost a must for pistoleers to carry multiple guns on them at all times. and always examine a mob before you attack it will save you a lot of headaches if you find out there resists.

I've just started Pistoleer as well. Now granted I'm teamed up with someone at all times but I seem to be doing very well with a well built (and expensive) FWG5. I've hearg negative things about the DX2 and the fact that I hardly seen any in the shops means either A) they are sold like hotcakes or B) They are like the E11 rifle and nobody wants it.
