Thread: What pistol for PvP?

What pistol are you guys using for PvP? I'm a wookie, so I'm still new to armor and resists...is there a specific damage type that is vulnerable by most armor? What's more important in PvP, speed/accuracy/AP?
Here's what I have:
DX2 -Acid - low speed - AP
Rep Blast - Energy - AP
FWG - Heat - low speed - no AP
LP - Blast - no AP
Tangle - Stun - low damage - no AP
Any suggestions/advice would be appreciated. I know some of you are avid PvPers
I am not lucky or rich enough to have a Geo pistol.

Stun damage is what most comp armor is vulnerable to, and even stun layered comp can only get to 40% or so i believe. So the Geno Sonic Blaster is probably the best PVP weapon in Pistoleer arsenal. The crafted ones are very nice pistols in their own right, then when you add Stun damage they become godly...(read Expensive).

Sorry, i'm a dork and didn't read the last line in your post. Excluding the Geo, you would want something that has AP. If you can hit the speed cap with attachments or BH pistol line, then go with damage as the priority over speed. If not hitting cap then you want to look at speed so you can hit specials at the 1sec cap. Now that they've improved the DX2, it is a very nice pistol. The FWG5 is nice and fast but has a large gap between min and max damage and will be more effected by the ranged mitigation. Hope this helps a little bit.

use 32% min damage powerups and the modified republic blaster or the dx2
the tangle COULD be useful, but in most cases it's not as useful.... they're INCREDIBLY slow and have negative accuracy mods and some cases, the dmg of our other pistols is better anyway
