I recently went up the Tactics line to Master Tactics, and I've got two boxes of Spec Abilities. I've very short on skill points (dabbling on weaponsmith too), so I just go up one line at a time.

For my next line should I take Marksmanship or Stances and Grips?

At first marksmanship would seem to be cool, but then again, I can't really remember that last time I've ever missed a target a significant amount.

you should have took special abilities and marksmanship cuz marksmanship gives you the usefull skill mods.
