I'm wondering about DE-10 barrels....

I have heard that they are bugged and are supposed to have stats

If that is true are the stats hidden?

and are yellow lettered ones any better than the white ones ATM?

I know the ones that WERE dropping on Test Center were bugged... I don't know about the ones that are dropping now, though. But yes, they ARE supposed to have stats.

there is a lot of evidence to so show that the barrels are simply just not SHOWING the stats, but still have stats

the barrels are more rare than the schematics supposedly so just be cautious if you are going to use krayt tissues, etc.
personally if i found some i would try and wait around a bit and see if it gets fixed anyway

We aren't sure yet, but yes, there is evidence that the stats are hidden. I haven't yet heard back from development.

Haven't heard back yet? This whole issue seems like a "Oh crap! We forgot to show the stats? Whoopsies. Just let me push this button and it's fixed." type of deal. It seems like people on the Dev team would know, what's with the wait? This whole thing should be a hotfix ten minutes after the patch.

Well, at least we know you're on the ball Randonb. Can't say the same for the devs.

I recently had one mad, (yesterday) and did not have any stats on the barrel i had looted. Although the gun turned out pretty well. 337 max with 53% wound chance.. and got a 31% damage slice which makes it 416 max. I am pretty happy none the less.To answer your question, my barrel was yellow and showed me no stats at all.

Personally I would not pay for one until it is determined if this is normal or not.
