I just got it, but I really don't see it very useful... how do you properly use it? Seems the dmg is just the same as everything else.

it's an AOE 20* cone

randon posted a picture explaining how it worked, but basically it damages your look-at target on the first shot, and agros everything in the cone, and will damage everything after that

it's good against a lot of targets that are close together, especially with a modified republic blaster

well...I tried that but it only hurts one creature. 4 of them clumped together on me and just1 takes damage. I backed up to and had them chasing me in single file...only the target got dmged.

dont have any pets...lol. At least not ones that survive more than a couple of hits.

a nice LE-Repair droid will have about 6k HAM and can tank pretty well until you can lay waste to everythingit's holding off

Pup a 260 max damage (non-krayt) Republic blaster or Mod Rep. Blaster for damage, get Janta missions on Dantooine, stand back at 64m and start spamming Fan Shot. He and his buddies will aggro, so start running away as soon as they start moving towards you. Just lead them in circles around the mission target while shooting the living hell out of them. Eventually they'll all be dead and you'll walk away with 27k in cold, hard cash.

It works like FlushingShot2 for rifles, you spam It into a flock (20)of ST and you watch then go down after 15 seconds. Really effective at grinding you the rest of Pistoleer if you arent master .
