For medic you need good mind, for sure, but that doesn't mean you have to max it or anything. Scout doesn't change anything, unless you decide to use traps, which I highly doubt, in which case you might want more of the action cost pool (which is it, quickness or stamina?). But you'll want that anyways to help out with specials, since most pistoleer specials draw primarily from action I think. If you have medic, it's usually a nice strategy to set your primary health and action pools pretty low, because you can just heal yourself, and spend those attribute points on the secondaries, mostly the cost pools because once again, instead of having to regen you can just heal. But if you're going to be doing that, then you definietly need to invest a lot in the mind pool and it's secondaries, or else you'll be screwed.
