Hey guys,

I've been a pistoleer since launch, and while I dabbled in other things, I've ended up with exactly what I wanted before I even bought the game: Triple Master.

Well, I was always pretty satisfied with the way things were, even though we were broken ... I didn't let it upset me, and decided to have fun with what we had.

However, in the last few months I've started PvPing alot more than when first getting the game, and the obvious speed penalty they decided to hand to pistoleers is getting aggravating.

I spent most of my money on the new DE-10 pistol, so I don't have much left over for buying good attachments. I want only pistol speed attachments, I really don't care about anything else ... except maybe accuracy while moving, but that can come later.

So, where do you all go to loot your attachments? I know no place is a guarantee, but what are the best places? I've been at the Aakuan Cave recently trying to get those rings, and in the process got a few +2 attachments (nothing pistoleer though) ... should I stick to that? Should I just go kill Nightsisters? Please tell me where you all loot your stuff.

Thanks for the quick response, sorry to hear you're having troubles with it though.

Perhaps if you loot really good attachments useful to other professions you can trade them for the specific ones you're looking for? I'd like to do this as well, but the question remains:

Where's the best place to go to loot good attachments, pistol speed specifically, but if that doesn't apply, then good attachments in general?

Yes, and yes. Although looting the Corsec Gloves has been a pain. I've gone through there a few times and all I've ended up with was some decorative loot and Corsec Boots (carbine speed).

The Borgle Caves are just a place to sit by piles of trash and loot them every 30 minutes. But if people see you AFK in the Borgle Caves, they are likely to report you to a CSR because they don't like it.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but hasn't the quality of the attachments gone down in the Borgle Cave? Also I feel the best place to get attachments is from nightsisters. I have looted many high level attachments from there including a +25 to warcry from an elder. Even the lesser nightsisters can drop good stuff, I have also looted +7 to ranged defense from an initiate.

couple places that i wouldn't have thought of trying out! I'll go investigate there soon.

Oh, and BZebub, I usually don't afk anywhere, even when my alt was grinding musician in february i didn't afk with him very often, so I probably won't get reported ;-)

The Aa'Kauns on Talus drop tapes and other good loot by the bucket load. The rings give +5 ranged defense (you can wear 2), the belts have +10 disease resistance, the robes have +10 poison resist, and the shirts are less useful with a +10 bleed resist. Most of the SEA's I have gotten from them average +4 in value. You can find the Aa'kaun in the POI cave (camped on my server) or just get in a solo group and run the missions.

Yeah, I've looted some polearm +2s from there, as well as a belt, a robe, and a pilot's jacket (forget what that gave as skill mods) ... but I haven't been able to get the rings yet ...

However, I didn't know that you could run Aakuan missions ... if they drop the same sorta stuff, that's some pretty awesome information!

Yes you can run missions and they do drop the same stuff! My player city is on Talus, so we run them all the time out of the city. Just get in a group of 3 to 4 people and look for the 8k missions. Good luck and enjoy!
