Thread: Does Disarming Shot actually reduce weapon condition?

Okay, so I heard a story about somebody spamming disarming shot 2 in PvP and destroying the conditions of people's weapons. Does the skill really do this?

aye i remember reading about a pistoleer who apparently spammed disarm shot2 and despite getting killed by the jedi ended up knackering the guy's saber..wether its true or not is sumit i'd like to know.

Nexttime somebody goes FD on me, I'll see if I can break their weapon.

Yes it works,so beware of any d00d holding a pistol in his hand zerging from a cloner he meansto not harm you butyour precious.

Nope sorry kids disarming shoot does not in anyways reduce the condtion of your opponents weapon, never have and I will bet my top dollar that it never will. Due to the massive potential to grief.

Even if it did reduce the condition of a weapon, it would make it absolutely worthless in PvE. Now if it actually disarmed your opponent, the equipping delay now in place would allow you to get some good shots off.
