I hope this question is not a stupid as I think it is...

Where do you people find these killer weapons? I hear so much talk on these boards about Krayt Tissue modified weapons and the like. I never see them... Granted I havn't looked far beyond my usual weaponshop on sunrunner. Also, DoTis an acronymfor?

Going for Master Pistoleer /BH Pistol Tree / Smuggler Pistol Tree / And prbably TK or Fencer with what is left. (Guess i better master marksmen then, huh)

dot - Damage over time (like bleed)

You will need to look for a good weaponsmith and it will likely take some travel. Or you can harvest the krayt stuff yourself and talk to your local ws to make what you want.

First, DOT = damage over time...like bleeds, poisons, fire and disease

Second, krayted weapons are (mostly) made by weaponsmiths using krayt tissue as a component. Depending on the quality of the tissue, the stats are increased well above the normal specs of the gun.

The guns that have DOTS, are almost always looted items off of higher end NPC's. The krayted guns can be custom made for you by Master Weaponsmiths...but you get what you pay for. All legendary weapons are looted....as far as i've seen. If I'm wrong on anything above, please correct me.

I figured it would just be a matter of looking; i just wanted to eliminate anything that wasn't obvious. So, Krayt enhancements are modifications to existing weapons or can these enhancements only be added during weapon construction?
