i know dodge works differently than melee/ranged defense, but how? It doesn't seem to kick in very often at all..

some questions I want answered.

-Does dodge cap off at 125 like melee/ranged def?

-How does it decide if you dodge or not?

-how often does dodge actually kick in? is it active every attack, or is there a cooldown between dodges.

Thank you...

Dodge does cap at 125. It is a secondary defense, that is to mean that first the game will check for a hit/miss, and if its a hit then you will then have a chance to dodge the attack. It is commonly believed that accuracy plays a huge role in whether a secondary defense triggers or not, so if your fighting a Rifleman, BH Hybrid, or TKM your going to have a hard time dodging their attacks.

In my personal experience, dodge does trigger quite often in PvE, but not nearly as often in PvP. Also, it often says you "evade" in your combat spam when you dodge, so if you see that often you know its working well for you at the moment.
