So I'm an Image Designer and a Tailor. I got sick of all the cat calls I'd got as a dancer, so I decided to pick up some pistol skills to fend for myself instead.

Having novice pistoleer, I have 31 skillpoints left to spend. I've read all the FAQ's and posts that say to get fan shot first, but what should I do with the rest? I don't plan on doing much more than the occasional factional PvE and a few duels.

Is accuracy or speed more important with such a limited template? Should I consider the dodge line?

I was thinking 0341 or 0143. What do you think?

Just my personal opinion, but I would do the 0143 template. Pistol Melee Defense 1 is a fairly useful special, so your going to want to have it. Also, speed is probably more important than accuracy. With speed, you will do more damage over time, plus you get a little (not alot, but its something) melee defense sprinkled on top. You can make up for the lack of accuracy by eating Citrus Snow Cake or acquiring some Deadeye if your a rebel. You can also compensate for it by buying scoped weapons and using postures/range to your advantage. So if you have to choose between speed and accuracy, I would definitely take speed in this instance.

Thank you for responding. One last thing that I had been thinking about: 0143 gives +15 to accuracy while standing whereas 0341 gives +15 accuracy while moving. Do pistoleers typically find themselves running more than not? Do you typically just stand there and pound fanshot?
