Hi all,

Love the Pistoleer forum, it was a huge help during my grind and afterward. Question for all you "Ultimate Pistols" types out there (Master Pistoleer, BH 0040, Smuggler 0040). I've realized recently that i never fiddled with my stats in character creation, and would like to do so now. I was wondering what you all suggest as the best Stat setup to accomodate the All pistols, All the time template.

For reference, here are my current stats (un-buffed, of course):

Health 1062

Stats (cont'd)

Health 1062

Strength 480

Constitution 330

Action 862

Quickness 464

Stamina 314

Mind 685

Focus 328

Willpower 328

Ok, any suggestions for changes that would balance out my HAM and make it easier for me to use specials, as well as be overall more effective (primarily in high-end PvE) that'd the fantastic.

thanks in advance.

Max outmind, if you're human it will look something like above. You need to be buffed with this template, but if you're mostly hunting high end stuff you probably are anyway.

Thanks for the replies. My question is: is it better to max out mind, or to even out all three? Ideally, I'd like to be able to fight buffed, but without much armor, although I really don't want to pick up TKM for that. Any other good ideas?

if you want to fight buffed all the time, max out mind and put everything else at the minimum.........

with that way, if you get buffed, you'll have about 2.5k-3k health/action accross the board, and if you buff your mind, you'll have about 2k mind

if you fight unbuffed, you'll want to add as much as you can into the action and action secondaries

just a little sidebar, the first secondary stat is for HAM costs- the higher the number, the lower you pay when using specials and things like that

the second secondary affects your regeneration rate- the higher the number, the faster you regenerate

pistols use twice as much action as health or mind, so you'll want higher secondaries for action....... but if you fight buffed, it's all moot anyways lol

Mind is the target for most serious PvPers because of the lack of ways to heal it. However, present a good PvPer with an alternative weakness and they'llexploit it. If you're serious about PvP, maxing out your mind with your base stats, having good buffs, good composite armour and good foods (both brandy and steak)are all essential.

Also, if you're a purely combat template, having a friend along that can use at least stim Bs is always handy.
