A couple of questions from a new and improving pistoleer.

1.How do I get fan shot to hit more than one creature? At the moment I am just using last ditch because it takes more out of creatures, what am I doing wrong? How do I get it to clear and area?

2. Is bleeding shot better than health shot 2? Do they stack or should I use 1 rather than the other?

Thanks in advance.

1. Make sure you have distance from the targets, FanShot won't work at point blank. Try to get your targets within a few metres of each other, preferably lined up in a column behind each other. Also, if you have some targets closer and some further away but inside the cone, try shooting at the furthest target; it might help in hitting the others within the cone.

2. Use HealthShot1 and HealShot2; they both stack with each other.

1. fanshot shoots in a 20* cone so it has a larger spread farther away, and close up, it's harder to hit many targets, also itonly hits your initial target on the opening shot unless everything's agrod you.....
it's very good while kiting a group of mobs since it has a 4x dmg modifier and last ditch has a 6x- so even if you can hit two guys it'll be more effective

2. not absolutely sure, but i think healthshot2 is a lot better
also yes, they do stack.... this should have been fixed, so enjoy it while you can though
but then again, spamming healthshot2 for the health dmg is better than adding a bleed anyway

Fan shot hit's creatures within a cone around your target, if certain creatures you want the shot to hit are too far spread from your target or not directly in the line of fire they won't take the damage. It takes some playing around to get the idea of how spread they are yet still in range to take damage.

As far as the healthshots stacking last I read the answer is yes, they stack, however I might be wrong.

for fanshot, just aggro a bunch of stuff

then run directly away from them in a straight line, and you will fan shot the entire group cause they will line up to chase. once you run like 50m or 100m in one direction, turn around and run back at them, pass them, and run away in that direction in a straight line. doing this keeps em lined up and you mow em down at super speed

1. what he ^ said.

2. For PVE use healthshot. For PVP use bleeding shot and hope you get lucky with a mind bleed.

Healthshot 1, Healthshot 2, Bleeding shot, and torso shot all stack. So you can have 4 bleeds going at the same time, possibly on the same pool. Works well for really high level critters, but the lower stuff, by the time you get to the last bleed, they're half dead anyway, so you might not even see a tic from some of them.
