Launcher Pistols, I have novice commando, BH 0040, Smuggler 0040, master pistoleer which of the special moves from these if any can

I use with the launcher pistol.

Same template as me



You get all the specials.....I pretty much only use the following shots -Bleedingshot, Torso Shot, Healthshot 1\2, Lastditch, Lowblow, PMD1, and I have got them all to work with a Launcher.

for all intents and purposes, the launcher is a pistol, it just gives heavy weapons xp cause it splodes everything instead of... whatever other pistols do

thanks how does a decent one compare to say a geo or a de-10 ?

Depends on what your going up against..... Its knocks the socks of Geo or DE-10 when going up against say an AT-ST or NS Stalker, as these have low or no Blasts resists.A decent one would be a gorax enhanced one, with a good damage slice, I have one that is 330max without PU - not awesome but still, not bad.


Thats the main advantage of having a launcher, as it adds Blast Damage to what you already have, Kinetic, Stun, Heat, Acid and Energy. Oh yeah and it looks so cool when you fire it at stuff about 60m away


My main gripe with the Launcher is why the hell isn't is at least AP1??????

All specials that work with pistols work with the launcher.

Whoa, hold the boat there. You mean I would get Heavy Weapon XP for using a Launcher? That will certainly reduce thetime trying to get my lightning cannon xp up. I am still wavering on keeping Novice Commando after that box though as I really want to be an MBH/MP.

Yep - you get heavy weapons XP.


Although you will find you dont get as much heavy weapons XP per kill as you would Pistol XP, max I seem to get is about 3k per kill for stuff that would give me 5k Pistols XP. But still I imagine, a lot quicker that grinding with an LLC.

its doesnt get ap1 b/cause it fire a pack of target seeking rockets, why woudl those burst through light armor. . . . duh!

my question is related.... if you use a scatter or launcher, do you get the advantage of the dodge modifier from pistoleer and fencer?
