Try using Pistol Melee Defense 2 for a while as if it is the only special available to you.

pisotlle rmelle defense and disarming shot and maybe a bit of double tap you will be cured quickly

I just felt bored of being a tank and being stacked like that felt kinda unfair to me.

Truth to tell, I dropped Rifleman to become a Pistoleer. The game was just far too easy /strafe2-ing and /heashot3-ing every NPC with my Jawa Ion Rifle or T21. Becoming a Pistoleer made the game a bit more challenging and I've had more fun hitting players with Torso Shot than Headshot3.
