well, i'm not a master pistoleer, but i did stay at a Holiday Inn Express last night....

okay, sorry i couldnt resist. i'm a MSL / MBH / Pistol 0404. the attacks i get that you and i would share are: Improved Burst Shot, Improved Disarming Shot, Improved Stopping Shot, and Improved Fan Shot.

i have them all on the top row, along with some specials from Marsksman (Body Shot) and many specials from Bounty Hunter. the second row of my toolbar are my Squad Leader specials, stim packs, and weapons for quick changing.

the specials i mentioned above i use quite often, w/ the exception of the fan shot...i dont care much for Area of Attack specials in PvE, but may have a place in PvP situations. Burst Shot should be one of your best friends. its a stuning attack. make sure you get this state to stick to your opponent. it will lower their accuracy and defenses. Along with Stopping Shot, this will lead off many of your battles wheter PvP or PvE. Disarming shot prevents them from attacking you for 'one round' so to speak.

your other specials (and their successors) that you'll live and die by would be Firearm Strike (a melee Knock Down attack, very useful), Body Shot (increased damage, probably should be your standard and most used attack), Quickdraw (fast refire timer), Intimidate Shot (reduces their damage output).

as far as your toolbar goes, i would definately put the state cures up there. quickly recovering from a KD, Dizzy, or Stun your opponent lays on you when be a great help. also, most of your attacks will be replaced by their improved and advanced counterparts. an exception to this rule would be things like Stopping Shot, Improved Stopping Shot, and Advanced Stopping Shot. Improved has a long timer, and nothing like that un-rooted enemy coming at you with 5 kinds of pain and you haveno abilityto keep them away from you. in other words, if posible have all 3 stopping shots on your toolbar for quick and easy access.

hope this helps! GL w/ your pistol toting, squad leading adventures!!
