It was a long time ago now, sinceI started to grind Pistoleer in the squill cave. Most of my friends where Teras Kasi, but I still held the Pistoleer banner high for seven months. Then I started to grind Jedi, finished it, and thats my character now. One of my saddest days in SWG was when I hanged my backpack of the holy six on the wall:
My "Armorpiercer" Geonocian Blaster
My "Elder Slayer" Republic Blaster
My "Squillkiller" FWG5
My "Nightsister Stalker" Striker
My "Sapphire Fire" DE-10
... and my "SBD Melter" Scatter

The CU came. What did I do? I grinded Master Marksman, master Pistoleer. And I had so much fun doing it. I dont care if the damage output was weaker, I had my role back as the Crowd Control specialist, and it brought me back memories.

Then I did something with Seanathat BH's around here will probably hate me for saying...

A BH popped up on the porch on the cantina. I walked out, he attacked. Then I pulled my pre-cu Spider Fang Featherweight FWG5 and shot him down in a few shots. He was totally unprepared for it, and what could he do.. root? run?

Then I told him, "I always will be the better pistoleer". I didntdeathblow him (i dont deathblow), I just walked back into the cantina. He cancelled the mission and drove off on his swoop.

It might be unfair... but it gave me back memories... a feeling deep inside...

Reason: The lack of multiplayer pve content and Star Wars feel.
For 3 years I have tried to find excuses to stay in game but only the expansions offered me what I subscribed for in the first place: A multiplayer Star Wars pve experience with friends around the globe. I found friends but with almost no addition of pve content they dropped out one by one. Now it's my turn.

teepo paladin is a cool phylosophy to follow

but pistoleer has never really been a "crowd control" profession until recently
we stole that role from carbineers lol

but it is good having the highest defenses out of the 3 ranged professions (rifles/carbs/pistols) and having a ton of cool attacks and actually getting nerfed again (hasn't happened since august '03... well and disarmingshot several months ago... but they nerfed a broken special lol)
