That is a complete Weapons database as of the ned of Beta. We will be updating it very soon with the latest weapons that have been included for the official launch.

Enjoy!

How did you go about getting this info? And how did you come by the DMS? I assume that is damage per second.

From my experience as being a Pistoleer in the beta, I can tell you this. My main weapon for a while was an Imperial Power5 (25 - 125, 3.6). Then they were nerfed to 18 - 87. When weaponsmiths starting shining, I waited for a bit. I actually bought 4 Old Imperial Power5's (25 - 125) so I never ran out.. but.. when good weaponsmiths started letting off their goods, I purchased a decent Scout Blaster. I think i twas 43 - 84, 2.8 speed delay. I considered that an excellent pistol at the time. Then later a weaponsmith crafted a miraculous FWG5 (36 - 139, 2.6) for me.

The DX2 pistol is a darn good pistol to have. Sadly, they arn't crafted that well and it will take a while for weaponsmiths to even be up to that level. So don't expect a weapon such as this. However, a SR Combat Pistol is also a nice weapon to get your hands on if it is crafter very well.

I'd suggest you wait for scout blasters to come out. They should be coming soon, they arn't that hard to achieve once an artisan gets weaponsmithing. Over time they will get better and FWG5s will arrive. However, FWG5's weren't that great when they came out while Scout Blasters became better and better. When weaponsmith's become more advanced, try to get a hold of a good FWG5 then.

If you plan on being a Bounty Hunter, try to find someone that can make a Scatter Pistol once you make it. Mine was 76 - 109, 2.9 speed. It was very nice I recommend that pistol to anyone that is a Bounty Hunter If you don't plan on being a Bounty Hunter, I know a good FWG5 will do once they start populating the bazaars.

Those were statistics from some of the weapons that I was able to attain in Beta. We are tracking and will have all of the updated statistics and newer weapons in the database as people send that information in.

I spent HOURS working up enough Rebel Faction points (1600)to requisition a Scout Blaster .... I must say, I wasted my time. The stats do not much the beta stats and they don't match the book either.... plus, you have no way to view stats of item you requisition .... I am very pissed.

The stats aren't much better then a noob CDEF or whatever. its like 20somthing-56 dmg ... with a 4.o to wound is the only benefit I'm seeing with a little better range attributes ... not too happy ... I could have spent those hours gaining profession points and money doing missions that pay well.

At first, early in the Beta, faction perk weapons were good. But then they got "balanced" so that they're practically the worse they can possible get. On top of all of that, when the devs wanted to stop people from getting ST/Marine armor so quickly, they raised the costs for weapons and armor. Simple weapons such as a Scout Pistol, E11 carbine or Laser carbine are now around 1500 faction points each to cost and they suck so horribly.

I think it'd hard enough to join a faction now. And I find that, now, being apart of a faction means nothing at all except to PVP later. There are no benefits for being in the Imperial or Rebel army. Ranks, faction perks, etc.. all mean nothing.

99% of the time, a player crafted weapon is going to be better than what you get from your faction as a perk. None of the faction weapons have been experimented upon and made better. Spend your FP elsewhere and make friends with an excellent weapons crafter.

Scout blasters are probaly your best bet, yesterday i got a 42-85 2.8s, probaly the best pistol I have seen myself. Previously I was using a FGW5 at 21-102 4.2s, the speed sucked and average damage is about the same. Can't wait tillweaponsmiths start creating some good higher level pistols.

Aside from weapons crafters, are there other places to pick up better pistols than just the beginning ones? I currently use CDEF pistols with 20-42 damage that I made from experimenting, but would really like to get up to better weaponry. Granted I'm not a pistoleer yet, but am halfway to getting pistol 4 already.

Thanks in advance for any help with this.

Me.
