Pistoleer Archive

I am working Ranger and Creature Handler. I currently use a pistol as my primary means of combat.I have made it to Expert Pistol, but now I am unsure what to do with the remaining 18 skill points. My question is should I put the skill pointstowards Ranged Weapon Support on the Marksman tree or should I put the points into the Pistoleer tree? Thanks for any advice.

I wouldn't be able to do themed packssince I have no Medic training. Only Scout and Marksman from the basic 6 professions. I just wanted to get a feel for what would be more valuable to my character, some pistoleer or Ranged Weapon support. Looks like Ranged might be the way to go I guess. Thanks for your advice.

Ahh...I just got what you meant about the Basic Medic. Use the 18 points to do the basic medic stuff. Sorry, had my head up my ***. LOL. Thanks again.

You have several options;

you can train novice pistoleer which will cost you 6 points and 2 skills in the pistoleer line and one skill in the marksman ranged supt line. no points left over

you can train the entire marksman ranged supt line but that leaves 4 points left over

you can train basic medic and organic chem so you can heal and make stimpaks leaving 1 point left over.

but if you are set on a choice of the 2 you mentioned then if you go pistoleer you only pick up another blaster cert and health shot 2, if you go ranged supt you pick up warning shot which is worth more IMO than heath shot 2.
