Thread: my idea for pistoleer combo tell me what ya think
I was going to go: Master fencer/Master pistoleer/TKA meditation tree (for meditation)/TKA precision tree (for melee/ranged defense)/dirty fighting on smuggler
nw tell me what you guys think of this, i wanna know if the ranged/melee defense stacks no matter what i have armed and if the meditation tree is worth it, wondering if meditation is good.
Im going for he swash buckling space pirate thing let me know!

It sounds interesting although fencing and pistol are both close range arts so it is a little redundant.
And yes I know right now pistol is great at all ranges but dont expect that to last forever.
yah im all about them cutting down the range on pistols to at least a little more then half, and definitely cutting down the damaghe TKAS put out, basically no one gets exp if they ae around, it is vry frusterating.
It's kind of silly the way TKA's get exp in this game. Of course we all know that exp is based on damage now, right? We also know that it doesn't matter which of the HAM bars is depleted to kill a mob. But often, especially in larger groups, more damage is done to the monster than would be necessary to kill it. For instance, if I were using a carbine and were using Leg Shot through the whole fight, but the monster was killed because their health ran out, I didn't actually help my group at all, but I still get exp for the damage I did.
And what about the moves that can help the group out immensly but do no damage? I'm talking about lunge, warning shot, supress fire, etc.
TKA's and other brawlers that commonly use berserk cannot choose which HAM bar they allocate damage to like the gunners can. If I were using Health Shot through a fight, and damaged 2/3 of the monster's bar andmyTKA groupmatezerked and did the other third while also doing some pretty **edit** good damage to its Action and Mind, the TKA would get a lot more exp than the person who should get more--the gunner. This illogical way of distributing experience needs to be changed, but I can also see why it would be unfair to brawlers sometimes because early on they cannot control which bar they hit, they would just have to get lucky.
Guess I'll be soloing for a while.
