I had my first duel today against an Imperial scumbag(marksman). He had an imperial trooper as a side kick. He thought two on one he would be able to take me no problem. SoI accepted his challenge and started off with my unarmed attacks togivehim a sense of power. A kick here a stun there he took them in stride. I took a few shoots from his rifle and the troopers rifleknocking me to about half life,but thenI pulled out my trusty Scout Blaster and from there it was all over a couple of body shot 2's later he was belly up incapacitated. I did a quick run to loss the trooper, I didnt want to have all imperials after me, and settled down to enjoy myvictoryover one Imperial scumbag.

Thats my story I would like to hear a few from some of you other pistoleers.

Sitting in the Cantina, in Theed, tending to my battle fatigue when someone starts talking bad about Darth Vader and the Emperor. Killed the crap talker in 4 shots and took no damage. Immediately after wards, someone else said the Emperor isn't crap Tsakuo, and neither are you...I immediately dueled and laid down another crap talker with little to no effort. The cantina was in an uproar! I asked if there was anyone else that wanted to talk crap about the Emperor or me...everyone cheered for me and no one else contested...you see all the rebelscum sympathyzers were dead...so I simply said, very well...and went back to healing my battle fatigue...

Tsakuo, Novice Gunfighter

Came into the cantina after a long night of fighting and gaining Pistol Specialist, it was pretty packed while I rested.
A very newb(and very rude) Trandoshan says something to the effect of "Does anyone know how to play this stupid game", to which I replied "Nope, none of us do".
Apparently he was upset by this and about 5 minutes later I recieve a duel challenge(I assume he was looking for the command).

I stand up and get ready to draw...when he falls incapped from mind dmg. I was confused, thought he might have spammed a power or something so then tell him I could kill him right now if I wanted to, then sit back down. He gets up again, so I do as well...then he falls over from mind damage. Im pretty confused until a rifleman steps up from the back of the bar. Apparently in his attempt to duel me, he aslo(accidently) challenged him as well- who then just sniped him from across the way.
After we figure this out, the guy still wants to duel me to 'shut me up'- the rifleman warns against this saying he'll die this time.

I draw, he falls, I learned that you die even in duels after 3 incaps(and I don't think Im a murderer as I got no indication) =D

LOL yeah started a duel in a cantina full of people. It was great, everyone wondering what the heck was happening and all. Felt like I was taking out Gredo cept it was an artisan friend of mine. Anyways everyones reaction was to funny. Try it sometime.

I'm going Pistoleer but I'dhave real trouble dueling in a Cantina. I'd have to invite them outside.

Yeah, I've got one...I had a swordfighter friend who was bragging about his skills in the med center one day while I was patching a wookiee up. So I told him to shut up and sit down so I could heal him, but he got lippy with me. Well he hadn't seen me in a while, so he didn't know I was Pistol Specialist, so he comes up and says that he'll kick my ass. So I accept his duel, hit him with healthshot and about 5 body shots, and he drops. I thought about /deathblow just so he'd have to come back and I could get more medic XP, but decided against it. So as soon as he gets up, I tried to heal him, but it wouldn't let me! It said something like, "It would be unwise to heal a player like this" or something. It was really funny. So, we talk a bit more, and then suddenly he stabs me and runs like a little girl as fast as he can out of the med center. I let him go, and finished with the Wookiee. Idiot

Back in Beta 3 i used to hang out in the cantina on Kor Vella, Ahazi (still my home town) I had just come in from the field to find the entertainers being harrashed by two rather rude persons. The were being quite nasty about it all so i threw down the gauntlet and warned that if they didn't back off they were going down. Guess some people just never think. So i challange the first one and after a couple of point blanks and a body shot they went incap. I didn't DB cause it just wasn't worth it. Then her friend started to get all uppity about it and I called him out.

Halfway through fightint him the first guy gets back up and starts to get involved, I started to get a bit worried but i still could handle them. One thing that i did forget was that zabak's get the equilibrium. He was practically dead and all of a sudden Bam practically full health again. Time to switch tactics. So i put the bar between me and them and BS2 the guy down. The minute he fell his freind ran. I walked over to his body and let him know that he was not going to be as lucky as his friend and then promptly DB'd him. I went to chase after his friend but she was long gone so i pull up a chair and try to heal up.

I was about 1/2 health when i see the guy come back into the bar. This time he is holding a pistol. I shook my head. Some guys just never learn. Suffice to say that fight ended much quicker. Once i incap'd him i walked upto his body and just looked at him for a while. There is something so invigorating about standing over someone and just imaging them sweeting in their seats praying that you don't DB them again. I "/emote points gun at head" And told him to get out of my bar and never come back. I didn't DB him and when he got back up he flew out of the bar at top speed. They never saw him again.

I got a round of applause and thanks from all of the entertainers.

My funniest duel story...

First I'd like to mention I have over 200 wins, and a single loss. This story is my single loss as I have had so many wins I can't even remember any one in particular

About 30 imperials had just raided anchorhead and destroyed all the rebels there. After the overt had their butts kicked. The coverts began ranting about how imperials are nothing but numbers and a bla bla bla. So we begin challenging all the coverts to duels to get some extra fp and shut them up. All one on one duels. I had won about 10 duels previous to this so I was feeling cocky. I had just gotten a scout blaster and I was the only person I knew with one. They were extremely rare in a time when most people still used cdef, and a select few raved about their brand new d18's. LOL. So I killed 3 rebels in duels healing between each and suddenly another guy challenges me. Figuring the easy win (as the others had been) I promptly accept and began to fire. Found out the hard way that I wasnt' the only guy in the galaxy with a scout blaster. It came down to the buzzer. I was up by a little bit but we were both one shot from death. It was my turn to shoot next. I shot. Thats when I saw the little green numbers floating above his head and realized I had forgotten to queue up another bodyshot. That action shot, aimed at his head, would have been fatal, instead he got the bodyshot and took me out. What was worse was the embarrasement. After all us imperials (about 20 left at the time) talked about how I would tear him up, and all the rebels gathered round, a huge crowd around us. I got served. Its funny now though. I think on it from time to time as I tear through victim after victim. My personal best is 44 rebel kills in one day. If you'd like a duel with me you can reach me on Gorath server, name is IMYTA. I was just running through Theed as an overt when a reb sniper tries to take me out...

I'm zabrek with 1100 mind pool...usually can soak 3-4 headshots with mind bleed

So first shot is a mind bleed...soturn to run towards him pistol out...right as i close he gets his 2nd head shot in and takes me to about 20% mind...so I hit my zabrek equilibrum skill and equalize my HAM bars which gives me basically a mind heal..mind goes back up to 60% then i stim my HA damage off and wreak him with my pistol...

One dead rebel sniper...wonder what he was thinking when he saw my mind jump right back up...

sry im not a pistoleer, just a wannabe one with pistol specialist...i wish i had more skill points to be one but I have to fill combat medic and doc trees
