Pistoleer: Master

Weaponsmith: Master firearms crafting, Expert weapon crafting Techniques

Ranger Frontiering IV Habitat Engineering

This build uses all of my skill points and looks to be pretty self sufficient and group friendly. What are your thoughts?

Not too bad. Im running mine like this:

pistol specialest/ Master Pistoleer. Then exploration4 in scouting. Master Smuggler (or atleast novice)

Id stil have quite a bit left, not sure what to use it on. I was thinking medic. Id like to fit into a group, or go solo. But the end goal is to work for the Imperial side of things.

Either way, I think this game is unbelievably awesome. I mean I have found so many things, seen some crazy big monsters (and im not talking krayts, im talking those giant huge mountain gorgs, but not the mountain gorges, there is a bigger one. They are freaking enourmous). Things like that, how big the planets are, how smooth it all runs.

Hwoever im having a problem with sound. I dont hear blasters anymore. Maybe my soundcard? Who knows, I heard them the first day, butnot since. Weird.

You're not going to be able to get Master Pistoleer & Master Smuggler since they STUPIDLY make you have to have Unarmed Specialist under Brawler to get to Smuggler if you have any other skills at all.

Well I will either go Pistoleer/Ranger or Pistoleer/Combat Medic.

I hear that a Ranger isn't a good choice in PvP, but Combat Medic was.
I will be in the PvP areas, so, but cant understand why the traps and mask scent will not work in PvP.

Why do people seem to like to avoid the pistoleer --> eventually bounty hunter road. I don't see any major flaws in it. If anyone does feel free to tell me, just wondering.

Umm no your wrong, you can go master pistoleer, master smuggler and master teras kesai.. it might be the only combo where you can master 3 elite classes.

Cause you only need pistol specialist and unarmed specialist, don't know if you can throw ranged support in there but i'm pretty sure you can.

I think Pistoleer/Smuggler/Teras Kasi Artist would be a great combo... you would get a huge defense bonus from pistoleer and teras kasi, and be able to use the spices to buff. Plus smugglers can use slicing to make weapons and armor better.

Originally I was going to go Pistoleer/Smuggler/Scout but after realizing that you can get Teras Kasi i am dropping my scout skill and going for the P/S/TK build. I would think this build would be pretty good in PvP too because of the defense bonuses and the buffs.

Has anyone done the numbers on Smuggler/Pistoleer/TKA Its my understanding that you can only master 2 and get the 3rd very close.

One thing thou as a smuggler your going to need a ton of resources to make spices so either you have to learn surveying or have a friend that doe it well.

Yes, you can fully master Pistoleer, Smuggler, and Teras Kasi. You can't have Ranged Weapon Support though.

I was thinking about Master Marksman, Master Pistoleer, Master Smuggler, and Acid Rifle III under Commando. The thought behind this would be that the pistol would make a good battlefield/offensive weapon while the Acid Rifle might makea better defensive/stronghold protectionweapon.

RagingEwok,

At one point I was considering going Pistoleer and BH (just for the few extra pistol skills) but, to be honest, I really don't think it's worth it. You would be wasting points on carbine/rifle/ and you won't be using those at all. The only real benefit you gain by getting BH is Eye Shot and a few extra offensive skills with the pistol. By the time you get Master Marksmen, Scout, and Pistoleer, you only have a few points left over to spend on the BH tree. Then you wouldn't have any left over to get any Medical skills. Too many points for too little gain.

Anyway, I've heard several people say they are going to try this and more power to them. I think I'm going to go the Pistoleer/CH route myself. I know it may not be best but I think it would be fun.
