With respect to the weapon bonuses each profession recieves as they advance, do the bonuses continue to stack beyond 100%? For example: If youusepistols and you achieve mastery inPistoleer, Marksmen andattain everything in the bounty hunter pistol tree, you (theoretically) end up with ridiculous pistol skillz. (forgot what the number was...like +160% to hit or something). Is there a cap? If not, is there any benefit to having higher than 100%?

Also, how exactly does an increase to weapon speed help? Meaning, when you get +5 pistol speed, how does that numerically effect your attack speed?

I'm not sure if the bonuses represent a percentage or not. I'm sure there is a benefit to receiving higher accuracy, even past what would be 100%. Your to-hit percentage would be based on probably a non-moving, non-evasive target, a parasol for example. When you're fighting an animal in game they probably have some skills that enable them to evade or dodge your shots. So, 100% to-hit a parasol might mean you only hit 75% of the time on a moving target.

I'm curious as to what the speed modifiers equate to as well.

One thing I'm not sure if people are aware of or not is that if you look at the marksman skill tree and then select the Hunting II skill box so you can see the To-Hit bonus displayed in the lower left box. Hover your cursor over that and you will see that is says the To-Hit bonus is only applied to normal ranged attacks. I'm pretty sure that means that it won't give you any benefit to any special ranged attacks like BS1/BS2/HS1 etc. I have heard a few people talking about that bonus but I'm not sure they realize it doesn't provide any benefit to specials.
