Ok I was out hunting yellow smugglers today and my first shot would be an aimed heartshot then i would pepper then with body shots and that was normally all it would take. One time I shot the guy but he was able to incapacitate me. As he was walking over to deliver the death blow and im laying down out cold so theres nothing I can do hes about to kill me then out of no where he drops dead. Woo lets hear it for SWGs best DOT. Heartshot rocks.

Sorry, just got Pistol Specialist last night and frankly the description of the skill didn't really make it clear that it was a bleed/DoT dohicky.

they really should update the skill tree descriptions to say things like this.

Sap shot and sap blast (on the combat readout)

Both are Bleeds (acts like a DOT).

First aid seems to only increase the duration between ticks (Still testing), and seems to do nothing to reduce the damage, nor overall # of ticks. Normaly, when you fire HS1 or HS2, it shows you on the combat screen how much it will do PER TICK, once it ticks...neither do damage initially. The time until damage is 20s..and 20s intervals thereafter.
