Pistoleer Archive

So I'm here on the brink of pistoleer and even with a nice DL44 Metal the most damage I'm causes on a regular basis is around 250-300 with Bodyshot2. I will only have enough learning points to get a single tree in the pistoleer so I'm unsure which to go for in order to get some more potent attacks. On the one hand there is the line with disarmingshot, stoppingshot, fanshot ect.. and on the other is the closerange2 and bodyshot3.

The one with disarming and such appears to be for PvP from what I can tell since it says the stopping shot can stop an animal dead in it's tracks or incap them in a single hit. Well correct me if I'm wrong but incapping only occours on other players. So I want to know, do these special moves work on NPCs or just other players? Cause if they can't be used on NPCs to disarm them and such then I'll just focus on getting bodyshot3 and be happy with the extra damage.
