I got to Novice Pistolier the other night *Woot*. Been cruising the forums and have been reading about how this person and that person have been certifications. I have seen them under my skills, I just have no idea how to get "Certified" in a weapon. Can anyone please explain how this is done? Thank you very much.

My understanding is that the player is certified when they have the skill that carries that weapon cert. Nothing fancier than that.

You must be thinking of badges. You are certified to use a weapon as soon as you train in the skill bubble that grants it. You can use weapons that you aren't certed for, but you use them less effectively I hear. I saw a guy shooting a rocket pistol (or some such) the other day that he wasn't certed for. Your certs aren't listed anywhere. Badges are on the CTRL-C character screen.

Nope that's not it. (Unless I am reading your reply wrong). If that is true I am technicaly certified in all pistols except on. However I do not have any certs. under my character. Maybe I am reading this wrong. I may be thinking badges. Anyone?
