I was wondering what everyone as a pistoleer uses for their HAM stat setup. I've been playing around with my HAM for about three days and I really didn't come to any success until yesterday when I changed parts of my setup around. This is now how my setup is:

Health: Full

Strength: Minimum

Constitution: 1/2 way

Action: Full

Quickness:1/4Way Full

Stamina:1/4 Way Full

Mind: 3/4 Way Full

Focus: 1/4 Way Full

Willpower: 1/4 Way Full

I would not recommend this setup for everyone but it works great for me since I am usually fighting tuskans or imperials and they tend to attack all parts of HAM. How is everyone elses HAM setup, I'm curious to find out.

Thats an intresting setup.

I'm not sure mines the best but it works out pretty well, few things i'm unsure of like if we need quickness or not. Currently tho, I have

Health, just shy of full, 1100 out of 1200 possible

Str = 1/4 of the way

Con = Full

Action = Same as health

Quick 3/4

Stamina = full

Mind = between 1/2 and 3/4 about 600 or 700 i think

Focus = minimum (300)

Willpower = Minimum (I'm a Zabrak so min is 700 anyway)

I do pretty darn well so far, but if I knew more about what quickness does I might adjust some more.

A cut and paste from our guilds message boards, if you are on Tarquinas and enjoy this little tidbit, thank Slestack.

THE ATTRIBUTES
Health: Represents your character' s physical health, including how much physical damage he or she can withstand (in some other games, the Health pool might be called your character' s "hit points") . Health can be depleted by many attacks, including a blaster bolt to the chest or being hit by a Tusken Raider' s gaffi stick.

Strength (Health Drain Rate): Determines the "burn rate" for any actions that drain from the Health pool, like using a special melee attack. The stronger a character is, the less Health he or she loses when performing strenuous activity.

Constitution (Health Regenerate Rate): Controls the Health pool' s recharge rate. A player with a high Constitution will recover more quickly from any attacks that affect the Health pool.

Action: Your character's physical energy. It dictates how often you can perform certain actions. Your Action pool drains when you' re hit by specific attacks, like a successful Leg Shot. The pool also drains when you use some special combat moves or use the Burst Running ability.

Quickness (Action Drain Rate): Controls how rapidly a player' s actions drain the Action pool. A character with a high Quickness can perform more Action-related special moves or use Action-related abilities (like Burst Running) more often than a character with a low Quickness.

Stamina (Action Regenerate Rate): The rate at which the player' s Action pool recharges. Characters with high Stamina are less likely to become winded by using Action- related moves.

Mind: Your character's mental strength, as well as a measure of his or her alertness and ability to complete technical tasks. Many special moves that require concentration (like Aiming) drain from your character' s Mind pool. Certain attacks, such as Head Shot, can also detract from your Mind pool.

Focus (Mind Drain Rate): Affects how greatly a character' s Mind-based actions reduce his or her Mind pool. Essentially, it' s a measure of a player's ability to concentrate when performing certain tasks. A character with a high Focus can accomplish more mental feats in a shorter period of time before becoming mentally fatigued.

Willpower (Mind Regenerate Rate): The recharge rate for the Mind pool. A character with a high Willpower finds it easier to regain his or her wits and recover from mental stress and exhaustion.

RavenMist, whats the deal man? You basically just said your maxing everything but mind stats. Not possible. Im a Zabrak too, I have health pretty much maxed, str and con half, action full, quick stam half, all minds bottomoed out (500 mind). Im maxed out, and you claim you have filled more things than I. I could be wrong though.

I like the original Ham set.

Im thinking of maxing out heatlh, action, and mind, since ill be taking alot of damage. Bottom out rest of mind categories. 1/4th way on everything else. I dont need con and stam that high, since you can always drop your armor for a hot minute to heal up, and im a scout/ranger, so making camps only helps.

Alright, im still in search for a good gun on Tarquinas. Only have a metal dl44, which is 3.7 speed, 24-96dam.51 to action. Not that great. Its tearing the ass out of me.

Never forget that higher up creatures attack your secondary stats as well (str, quickness etc)

So your primarys should all be high, preferablly almost balanced.

Your secondarys should be relatively balanced too, but usually nothing really needs over 500 because if the high level creatures do attack secondarys it is usually minimum damage.

So a good balance will get you far just remember that Health is the most commonly targeted stat, but that doesnt mean your others will be attacked too.

(Oh and as a side note, Constitution WILL speed up your health regeneration, so keep that one High ; p))

I'd go higher on Quickness(2nd Action stat). It affects how much your special moves drain that pool, in this case Pistoleer powers. So with a high quickness you should be able to use more powers(or go with high Action regen).

At least that's what I think makes sense.
Im a Zabrak, so my willpower is already high even at it's minimum(esp compared to health regen).

I kept health maxed, Action maxed, Mind i think i kept it at it's given level. Then dropped strength(we don't have powers that use health pool), bumped health regen a bit since it's slow. Put Quickness and Stamina high since that's my primary use as a pistoleer.
