Hi guys, I am a bounty hunter up in the pistoleer tree, 0,0,2,3

I have pistol melee defense 2, but I swear it never knocks down my opponent! It doesn't even say, "failed to knock down opponent" or whatever. Am I doing something wrong? Because if I try pistol melee defense 1, it knocks them down, but pistol melee defense 2 doesn't, I have sent in a ticket, but nothing works, I am hurtin here! Anybody else have similar experience here? All I am saying is pistol melee defense 1 is working, and pistol melee defense 2 isn't
