i thought the devs were nerfing this in publish six, but some dude posted on chilly that it has already been nerfed... can i get some verification?

Just from my own experiences, it is still in:

I'm a master Fencer that just picked up Novice Pistoleer last night, and I'm dodging like a MOFO...as much as I was at just Master Fencer, no other +dodge mods (with pistol equipped). So, IMHO, those that say it is already gone are misinformed.

Now, since this IS going to be fixed so they don't stack...I'm going to try and master Pistoleer ASAP, and then drop fencer

It is fixed actually.

Dodge only stacks now when your using a pistol, and does NOT stack when using a fencing weapon now.

Well how comes is took 6 ppl to kill me with a pimp stick in hand the other day, and how i could kill 8 tuskens while they were all surrouding me?

It hasn't been fixed but its goin to be, but they are still both great classes, so just go for it.

and btw i'm only 0-4-3-3 fencer.

That's not really much of anything. What isn't happening now is master fencer / master pistoleer build owning 20 people outright. And no one able to land a hit on him.

Now your just hard to hit, not impossible. That's what got fixed. Check the fencer profession forum, the correspondent posted about it.
