Thread: Weapon Advice For A Novice

Im aiming to master pistoleer, but my trusty FWG5 is almost burnt out thanks to decay, so Im in the market for a new weapon. Trouble is, I dont know what to pick. SHould I go for a scout blaster, so I can spam specials all day? should I buy another FWG5 for the high damage, but suffer the large HAM costs? should I go for the novice pistoleer weapon?
Im a PvE person, I hardly ever PvP, so Im just looking for the best weapon to hunt with. Any advice much appreciated.

Get all 3 and use whichever is best for the mob you are fighting. There is no single best weapon. Just use the weapon with the damage type your target is least resistant too.

Umm geta scout Blaster/ dx2 and a Fwg5 that way you'll have one heat, acid and energy gunwhich will make you strong towards most creatures.

I'll have to concur with the other guys here. If you're going to focus on the pistol as your weapon of choice, you really should get several different pistols with several different damage types. As far as damage types go, I think the pistols in SWG have the most diversity in damage types compared to other weapons.
