I am about to start my path to Master Pistol and was wondering what a good class to go with Pistoller would be.. I was thinking CH but have been reading somebad things about soon to be changes... Any suggestions would be great.. Thanks in advance..

smuggler its a fighting/crafting template with much better pistol styles than the ones you get from pistoleer.

soone to be more FOtM with the upcoming imperial crack down patch.

depend of what you want .. pvp or pve ?

for the pvp i'd suggest master pistoleer, smuggler 0040 & tka master. you have enough skill point left to have medic 2240. or scout if you prefer terrain negociation.

For PvE I like my combo - Marksman 0404, Scout 4040, Master Pistoleer, Master CH, and the rest put into Novice Medic where you like (I like 4200 myself). It is great because of the creatures tanking, terrain negotiation, ande the ability to heal yourself in battle. However, it is not a great PvP template, in which case I would probably do a Master Pistoleer, Master Smuggler, Commando 0030 combo.

Some pretty good templates:

Master Pistoleer / Master Dr = 232 points

Master Pistoleer / Master Smuggler / Master TKA = 247 points - This is what I have

Master Pistoleer / Expert BH = 237 points

Rake Odimo / Phov Odimo
- Tarquinas / Mistmoore
Yeah I play EQ2, but I still <3 Tarquinas.. - You can too!

Hehe best template for pistoleer I done:

Doc 0440, smuggler 0030,M. Pistoleer

- Buff/Revive with lowblow/panicshot - easy to solo things like fort tusken

Creature Handler/Pistoleer

- Easy to solo high lvl missions but boring.. atleast back then.. to easy and to many chs then

now

everyone gone doc

Pistoleer/M doc

- Not worth it for sure.. kept it for 30secs.. I cant live without lowblow/panicshot

atm im working on:

M Fencer/M Pistoleer/Smuggler 0040

- Im already fencer 0023 and I can dodge most shots in pvp, duelled master swordmen with full buffs and they hit me like 3times during the whole fight (then their down

)
