I just soloed a battle droid!!!
thats right, me and another from my guildwent to the dwb to kill some black sun. while we were waiting for more from the guild to come, we went in side to check it out. we didnt get to close and there was nothing at first. a battle droid spawned and my friend had his helmet off trying to get the moun after effect to heal (moun passed and healing mind) one smack with a lance and he out. he then went after me and i was like F*CK! he first was shooting at me and thank god i bought that energy/kinetic armor. he was hitting about 150 which was fine. i still didnt want him to get close, i started to run to the door and he followed me out. at this point i knew i had to kill it. i spammed health shot (highest, im master pistoleer) so it would only damage one pool and he would go down faster, i was getting 200-300 a shot with my dx2 (???, acid pistol) i did a hit and run tactic. i would hit him about 20 times, run ahead of him heal and then 20 more, it took about 5 MINUTES. thats it! they have 60 ,something, thousand ham. i got the 20 shots in fast and with dodge and the trees all around he hit me 4-5 times i was in range. people have said pistoleer is weak, but i havent hear of anything soloing these thing in 5 min, beside probably a jedi.
this was sweet, sometimes he was able to jump to 10m and get alot of shots, when he was down to 10k in health i didnt run anymore, i kneeled and then started finishing him off. now i know if i went in there i would die since i couldnt run as much around but im suprised i was able to take him down this fast. a couple pistoleers in a group inside would do some nice damage. 200-300 a shot every second or two would take them down fast, get a bh,commando,pistoleer,pikeman,tkm,docs and jedi in a group and you could probably get down there far.

Okay, what level Medic are you, and what are the stats on that Dx2? Any mods on your clothing?

im a master pistoleer, 4/4/4/4 swordsman, 4/0/0/0 smuggler and 3/0/2/0 scout (marksman 0/4/0/0, brawler 4/1/4/0)
thats it, my chest plate at the time i fought him was 67% to energy, helm 80 and legs 65-70 (not sure).
cant remember stats on dx2 but ill look next time im on... the battle droid cant run so its easy to get ahead of him, so i spammed health shot and then ran ahead healed ran back...a master pistoleer can shoot one shot a second almost...
just imagin dual pistols....muhahahaha!!!!!...i dont think i was wearing any pistol or defense enhancing clothing, my **edit** is like +3 melee but he didnt get that close to the end...i used sythsteak (spelling?) twice, with a 30% dmg reduction or something like that...
next time im on, ill get all the stats of my stuff i used, all though i fixed my chest and pant armor

first off, congrats, but was this a SUPER battle droid or a regular. If its a super then i am truly amazed but a regular is less impressive. Regulars are alot easier and have about a forth the HAM somewhere around 60k. SBDs have almost 300k and are monsters that i have nightmares about. Anyways congrats.

I doubt it was a Super battle droid. I fought one for almost an hour and it killed me. I had on full 80% composite and am a Master Doctor. I did maybe 26k damage to it before it got me. I was running up and down the side of Endor trying to KD it and burst run out of Aggro range.
You must have had some kind of UBER SUPER DUPER KADUPER DX-2 to hit an SBD for 300 pts, since it's AP1 and SBD's have AP3.
I'm a bit skeptical, seriously. O.o

lol, sbd would kill me in a few hits probably and would take an hour to kill..
i was to worried about getting my ass kicked in that i didnt take any screen shots. but im going to try it again tomorrow or the next day depending on my work schedual...then ill take some screen shots

If its a normal battledrioid i can solo one in less the 1min.. But i have never got a super Battledroid, they are fekin hard!!!

Whew... I was going to say.... SBD's are just plain nasty. I have taken a Battle droid down before but it was difficult. Good job!

was former pistol template and had easy yet slow way to take these big guys down and even anything in game....
torso shot with mod republic to stack dots and maybe a few health shots off if you have time then feign death
take forever but hey if somehting you cant take argoes you this could be your only chance
(i know it requires BH and Smug. but those uber pistoleers usually have those for specials)
